The motorcycle was developed and produced for human beings. There are many different Types of motorcycles as naturally, there are many entirely different Types of motorcyclists. They can be male or female, big, normally built, or short, of lightweight, normal or a little heavier. Some prefer to ride aggressively, some like it comfortable, some are the touring kind of rider and some enjoy digging off-road in the mud. One might prefer to ride very fast the next feels best when riding slowly and with caution. Are there bigger differences between humans than between motorcycles? Confidently we can answer this rhetorical question with a straight "Yes". Therewith Wilbers are able to justify different solutions for one bike and different users creating a huge and individual market!

Wilbers suspension technology is available for all models and all Types. Wilbers produce and distribute spring elements, fork springs, steering dampers etc. for more than 800 different Types of motorcycles. For example, the "Amazonas". Pardon? You've never heard of it? The "Amazonas", or Amazon, is the only big motorcycle produced in Mexico with the engine of a VW Beetle as power unit- just because you've asked. However, it was and is our main goal to offer a reliable aftermarket product for virtually all motorcycles available. The Knowledge / A Question of Experience
Wilbers are not the inventor though we were first to serial produce suspension shocks with separated compression levels, namely the low-speed and the high-speed adjustments. 10 years before it was simply impossible to measure the exact compression speed in shock absorbers. Bowing to the inevitable Wilbers took up the torch and Wilbers began occupying themselves with the exploration of compression speed. In cooperation with the measuring techniques of the well established company 2D, Wilbers soon were able to solve the problem coming up with a system to measure exact velocity in suspension systems. The first professional race with the new technology ended for the racer, Jörg Teuchert, with the title of World champion in the Supersport class 600. Nevertheless it is not always only the technology providing a breakthrough but the combination of experience and cleverly asked questions. Wilbers have to thank all our friends and customers for providing us with numerous ideas and for setting us thinking throughout the years

The Wilbers Products GmbH is located in the Lower Saxony city of Nordhorn. Nordhorn belongs to the county of Bentheim where even today the old castle of the counts of Bentheim towers mightily above the land. The Dutch border is nearby, only some 10 kilometers to the west. Since 1985 Nordhorn is the home base of Wilbers Products GmbH. Here Wilbers occupy themselves with the development and assembly of suspension system products. Quality is their main goal and principle whether in the product itself or in service. That’s a promise you can rely on! The Wilbers company consists of approximately 35 employees. Some of which are working in production, some in distribution, others are counseling customers on the phone.

Due to their huge commitment in national and international motorcycle championships Wilbers are able to test their products in the hardest circumstances. Their shocks belong to the best in the world and were impressively proven during the Supersport-WM in the year 2000. At that time, a “Wilbers-shock-equipped-motorcycle” won the World-Championship! Because of these experiences Wilbers are able to manufacture products in Germany that satisfy highest quality- and safety standards. Wilbers are a small but happy family keen on further growth and development. Their goal for the future is to secure their products quality and to invest in new markets. While great parts of Germany are suffering from unemployment, Wilbers are still trying to expand. Backed up by their precision-made shock absorbers Wilbers have got a positive perspective for the future, (always hoping that their efforts are not in vain.)
